| Modeled after the physical training regimens of the armed forces and law enforcement, boot camp workouts are designed to get the most results possible in the shortest allowable time…. They look like military boot camps—A group of people in ranks and columns workout together in response to orders barked out by a drill instructor, usually outdoors. No frills—Exercises mostly involve bodyweight exercises, with an emphasis on pushups, sit-ups or crunches, pull-ups and the one-mile run. All ages and abilities are welcome to participate.
